A day on the Kern Simulated Shoot is a quality experience; bespoke planning and friendly hospitality is the norm, both for the shooting – you are not stuck with some pre-formatted standard programme – and also for the catering. Whether you come as an individual or as part of a group, perhaps celebrating a birthday or a special occasion you can be assured of personal attention and service.
The day starts with a cup coffee followed by a safety briefing; then off to the drives – some being the same drives used in the shooting season. Elevenses are taken in the field or back at the Kern Shoot Barn; then more drives before returning to the Farm for an excellent lunch. In the afternoon another two or three drives before returning for tea – or something stronger if desired. The food and drink are very much what you want them to be; it is your day, and whether you request (in advance) steak and kidney pie, roast rib of beef, or lobster, you can be assured that it will be prepared and served to the highest standard, using local island produce wherever possible.
